Button Flower with color pencils
Hello everyone, today I have a card that I made using the fantastic flowers designed for Olesya by So Suzy Stamps and colored for me with color pencils. Nooo, seriously, you knew that I love to create my cards using flowers and now that we are near to San Valentine I found the perfect opportunity to make again something special with these images without use the traditional combination of red and white. Take a look at my card:
The base of my card is Wisteria Wonder card stock and the second layer is Whisper White card stock. I cut this second piece using the Wonky Stitched Nesting Die from Gina Marie Designs and over this piece I made an inked area created with the masking technique and four different colors of Distress Ink. I applied the colors up to down, Fossilized Amber, Spiced Marmalade, Broken China and Cracked Pistachio. I stamped the Love You sentiment with Versafine Onix on the upper part and pasted the layer directly over the card base with snail adhesive.
I a separate piece of paper I stamped several Button Flowers Right with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored each flower with Prismacolor Premier Color pencils. I used different tones of lilac and purples and then fussy cut the flowers with my scissors and arranged them over the card and pasted with dimensionals or double sided foam tape.
As final touch I added a few touches of wink of stella clear.
