Hello crafty friend, I am here to share with you a Christmas Decorations that I prepared for my home. I love Christmas and this year I plan to make some changes and I started by creating these frames using the basic concepts: single, layered and with dimension. Helmar products were my favorite partner when makings my idea a reality. Take a look at my frames and follow my easy tutorial!

CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS

Creating these frames was very easy because I bought black photo frames in a dollar store and I decided to paint these with white paint to give them a vintage look.

CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS

I used White acrylic paint and a sponge brush to paint the frames and I gave three coats of paint and distress them with a sand block. Then I cut 3 pieces of decorated paper to put inside the frame. I used a beige and white dotted pattern from the Chiffon Collection of Quick Quotes Scrapbook Company.

Now the process became more interesting because I wanted to decorate each frame differently. I selected the Craft & Hobby PVA Glue as my essential glue on this project. First, I cut one Deer using Brown Metallic Dark card stock and the Delicate Deer Die Cut from DieVersions. Then, I applied the glue and pasted the Delicate Deer directly over the decorated paper. To decorate the deer I added a mini sleigh bell tied with a green thick twine that I pasted using Craft & Hobby PVA Glue.

To finalize the decoration of this frame I added some loops of white and red thick bakers twine that I tied with a bow and green metallic brad.

My second frame i made using the concept of layering. I made this using the Floral Christmas Tree Die Cut from DieNamites. I cut this die several times using Old Olive card stock and then I pasted each tree in place using Craft & Hobby PVA Glue.

CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS

To finalize the decoration of the tree I cut a gold foil star that I pasted on top of the tree and added some red sequins using Craft & Hobby PVA Glue.  I also added a bow using red and white thick bakers twine to keep the standard concept on the frames.

CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS

My last frame is using dimension. For this I used the Elegant Poinsettia Die Cut from DieVersions. I cut this using Cherry Cobbler card stock and Garden Green card stock. I cut the petals on the red piece and pasted some white zapdots to add this piece over the green piece. Then I pasted zapdots behind of the green piece and I pasted the entire piece over the base of the frame or decorated paper.

CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS

To finalize this frame I added a Piece word die cut that I pasted using Craft & Hobby PVA Glue.
