Today I am a detective for CSI: Case 231, thanks to Imagine that is doing a wonderful cross promotion with this amazing CSI Challenge blog.

DETECTIVE FOR CSI: CASE 231

The CSI Challenge blog uses a very interesting model to create layouts. They give to their designers and Guest Designers like me all the information to create our own projects or conduct our investigations. It’s simple and funny and you can participate too. Just look at the information that I will share with you and create your project to link to the challenge.

DETECTIVE FOR CSI: CASE 231Now I want to share what I use for my project. I decided to use the fabulous papers of Quick Quotes Scrapbook Papers and for the base I used the Royal Blue from the Mulberry Collection. Then the CSI file said that we need to use stripes or any other element and I used the striped side of Anchors Aweigh 102 that has another color of the color scheme. I pasted this piece over the base using Tear It!  Tape. To make my page more girly I stamped a lace border using Versamark and White Embossing Powder, both products from Imagine. I also stamped some starbursts using Versafine Satin Red and Clear Embossing Powder.

Using my Canon PIXMA TS 9020 I printed the photo of my daughter that is my inspiration and superhero “only for today”. She is an awesome girl and I am so proud of her, also she has a blouse with another color from the color scheme and I created a white mat for the photo. I pasted the photo directly over the decorated base and some of the starbursts using dimentionals and decorated with twine doodles.

For the title, I used a word bubble die cut. I stamped the awesome word twice. The first time using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and the second using Memento Dandelion. I wrote the journal using Memento Black Marker, and created the bullet points with iRRESISTible Black.
