Some of my passions are techniques and for today I decided to apply one of them to my project. I created a set for Mother’s Day using several adhesives from Tombow and two different Die Cuts form DieNamites, Rose Bush for the card and Resting Birds for the Gift Box.

I chose the Very Vanilla color and cardstock to make all my projects. The card basically had three different layers before I pasted the decorated Die Cut. The first layer is the card base, the second layer are 5 small pieces that I pasted using  Tombow Xtreme Permanent Adhesive  and the third layer, is also composed of 5 pieces  but this time pasted with the  Tombow 3D Foam Tabs Small.

I love these Tombow 3D Foam Tabs because they come in two different sizes, in the same package and I have an addiction to giving my projects dimension.

Now I want to show you how I worked with the Die Cut. For the card I used the Rose Bush from DieNamites. I cut it into several pieces and pasted together using  Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue

After this, I covered it with Versamark Ink and Cherry Cobbler embossing Powder but only the flowers. I heated them with my heat tool and repeated this process three times. Then I colored the steam and leaves with alcohol markers.  I pasted the flowers and rhinestones over my card using a Tombow Mono Aqua Liquid Glue, this is great because it is totally clear.

To complement my card, I created a small gift box that I decorated using the Resting Birds Die Cut from DieNamites and I adorned it with some cuts from gold metal sheets.

To paste the metal over the paper I used  Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue, this fits the metal perfectly, you only need to let it dry for a few minutes. I pasted my decorated piece over the box using the fabulous Tombow 3D Foam Tabs Small.
