Flawless for Summer Highlight

Welcome to our  Flawless for Summer Highlight featuring Flawless Stamp Set from Joy Clair Stamps! This set is the perfect beauty set for the modern woman and beauty girls. You can use it to create cards, scrapbook or journal pages, bible journaling, coloring pages or with different stamping techniques. Today I have a shimmer card to share with you, here it is:

I chose cherry cobbler card stock for the base and Gold Glimmer Paper for the striped lines and special details or layer sentiment. Let me share with you the steps that I followed to make my card:

1. Cut the card base using cherry cobbler card stock. The size is 5-1/2″x8-1/2″ with score in 4-1/4″.
2. Cut a four stripes of gold glimmer paper of 1/4″x5-1/2″.
3. Paste the gold glimmer stripes over the card base using snail adhesive.
4. Stamp the different cosmetic images included on the stamp set Flawless using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and cut them with scissors or using the corresponding SVG files.
5. Color the images with markers or with your favorites inks or colors.
6. Stamp the sentiment using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and cut with a rectangle stitched die cut.
7. Cut a mat for the sentiment using gold glimmer paper and the next size of the rectangle stitched die cut. I used the collection of Rectangle stitched die cuts from Gina Marie Designs.
8. Paste the cosmetic images around the sentiment using dimensionals of different highs.
