Halloween with Joy Clair Challenge, what a good theme for this month and if you add the second topic, die cuts I can say that it is a great project to make! You know that don’t celebrate Halloween but I love to make cards with this theme because is like a switch color on my mind. Take a look at my card:

I love die cuts and this was the perfect opportunity to use a two die cut panels from My Favorite Things Die-Namics. The first was used as background for the stamped images and I cut it using a piece of decorated paper Honeycomb 102 from Quick Quotes and for the second that is part of the MFT Die-namics Blueprints 27 collection, I used a piece of purple paper, also from Quick Quotes.

Using the same window die cut and whisper white card stock I cut a second panel and used the negativite part of the windows to stamp my images with Versafine Onix. The big one is part of the Spooky Greetings stamp set and the character images are part of the October Fun stamp set.

Once all the pieces were cut and stamped I assemble my card. I pasted the orange layer over a basic black card base directly and then pasted the purple window panel with foam tape on the center of card and inserted the stamped images on each window. To embellish the card,

To embellish the card I cut two bats using the elegant butterfly punch from Stampin Up and the 3/4″ circle punch with the new Ebony/Ebony Start Struck foiled paper of Rinea.

You can also participate of this fantastic challenge and if you don’t want to create a Halloween project and/or use die cuts this is not a problem because always our Joy Clair Challenge is Anything Goes!
