Welcome to Joy Clair January ReleaseBlog Hop, the first official event of the year!  This is my second year as designer for this amazing team and I am so happy that they’ve allowed me to do what I love the most!

Today we are sharing four new stamp sets for bible journaling and regular stamping and you can recognize the style of the Designers Group. If you came from Donna’s blog,  or you’re starting here, then you are in the right place! I have a bible journaling page that I made using the God’s Treasure stamp set:

To stamp these images I used classic inks in different colors. I colored some images with color pencils but my idea was to use different colors of ink to catch the eye.

This stamp set includes many images to create a map, but I don’t feel comfortable stamping over the text of my bible for now, so I decided to create my small map on the blank column in the right side. First I stamped the cruise using Garden Green Classic Ink, then I stamped the gems using different colors like Crushed Curry, Island Indigo and Rich Razzleberry. For the routes of the map I used Cajun Craze and for the sentiments I repeat Rich Razzleberry, because it is one of my favorite colors.

On the left side page I stamped the treasure box with Memento Ink and I colored all the gems with color pencils. For the sentiment I used Island Indigo Classic Ink.

You may have noticed that my pages have a few touches of splattered ink. I get these using Fireworks in two different colors, Dandelion and London Fog. These spray inks bring me a little shiny touch without covering the text of my bible. I really like the special effect that I got, look at it:
