LITTLE SWEETS FOR MOTHER’S DAY

Hello dear friends, Martha Lucia here to share with you a little sweets that I made for Mother’s Day using the wonderful papers of Quick Quotes Scrapbook company and a new bag die cut. Take a look at these cuties:

LITTLE SWEETS FOR MOTHER'S DAY

You know I love bags and these are perfect for little treats, chocolates and small jewelry pieces. To create each bag I used two pieces of 4.5″x 4.5″paper and my big shot. I selected papers from different collections to have a great variety of colors. To be honest I love all the Quick Quotes colors but if I used them all, I wouldn’t have enough space in the photo!

On these bags I used Anchors Aweigh 100Earth Wind Fire 108, Honeycomb 100, Winter Bliss Paper and Mulberry Paper Collections.

Basically I cut the two layers of die cuts to create each bag and pasted them to assemble it. Then using a five petal flower punch I cut several of them in different colors, curved the petals with the bone folder, pasted them over the packages and decorated the center with white pearls from Want2Scrap.

I stamped different sentiments using PowderPuff Chalk Ink and I cut them with a die cut too. I then pasted all the flowers and banner sentiments with glue dots and put chocolates inside the packages.

I hope my project inspires you to use your scraps of papers and share your passion with others making little sweets for mother’s day or any other occasion.
