MAKE A WISH STENCILED CARD

Hello crafty friends, today I want to share with you a card that I made using the papers from the new collection of Quick Quotes and a die cut that I love from DieVersion. Yes, these are decorated papers but I decided to work on them with my stencils and PowderPuff Chalk Ink to create different designs over them. Take a look at my card:

Creating this card was very fun and easy. I simply took a piece of Anchors Aweigh 100 and secured it to the Heart and Flowers Stencil Girl using masking tape. I played around with the paper and the stencil to have the flowers in the position that I wanted.

Then with Clarity Brushes (HLLSS) I applied the PowderPuff Chalk Ink until I had the perfect color mix for the flowers. I used PowderPuff Aqua to enhance some parts of the free design areas, PowderPuff Desert Sand for the center of the flowers, PowderPuff Pixie Pink for the petals and PowderPuff Berry Jam to enhance the beginning of the petals.

The sentiment is a combination of words included on the stamp set Super Scrip 2 from Altenew that I stamped using PowderPuff Mahogany. To obtain a darker color on this, I re-stamped several times using the MISTI (HLLSS).

To finalize the card I created a layer using the pink side of Winter Bliss 102 that will be in our store very soon and is part of our Club Q this month. I love this color and it combines perfectly with my stenciled flowers. I also decorated the left corner with a 3D flower that I created using two Lotus Blossom from DieVersions that I cut from the new paper Mulberry 105.

I decorated the center of the lotus with a flower that I made using White Makin’s Clay that I sponged and colored with PowderPuff Buttercup.
