Masking with little sparkle is the card that I have to share today. I made this card using the masking technique and two amazing stamps from So Suzy Stamps, the Buttlerfly 3 and Leave a Little Sparkle. Take a look at my card:

Definitely my favorite style of card is the clean and simple and white is my best color because I can combine it with all colors. This month in the Design Team we chose the theme something special and masking technique and I decided to use vibrant colors and red is my favorite in these cases. So I took three colors of shades of red ink Rich Razzleberry, Rose Red and Pink Pirouette to create the colorful banner on the right side.

  1. Cut the base of the card using whisper white card stock. The size is 4-1/4’x11″ with score in 5-1/2″
  2. Cut a second layer using whisper white card stock.
  3. Create the panel that you want to ink using post it or masking tape. If you want you can secure at the same time the border die cut to create the separate windows.MASKING WITH LITTLE SPARKLE
  4. Cut in your Big Shot the three main windows or panels of your card without removing the masking tape and without inking the paper.
  5. Select the colors of ink that you want to use and start to ink with a sponge or blending tool. I started with the darkest color. MASKING WITH LITTLE SPARKLE
  6. Sponge on the upper part the light color. Remove the masking tape and with your MISTI stamp on it the sentiment Leave a Little Sparkle using Memento Tuxedo Black and Ink and the Buttlerfly 3 using Rich Razzleberry Classic Ink. MASKING WITH LITTLE SPARKLE
  7. Assemble the card pasting all the panels or windows with a lot of dimensionals.
  8. Finalize the decoration adding some sequins.
