Non traditional colors for Christmas

Hello everyone, today I have a card that I made using non traditional colors for Christmas. Normally we use green, red, white and chocolate but today I am using pastel colors. Take a look at my card:

I made this card using the emboss resist technique. You might remember how it works but let me share with you how simple it is. You only need to stamp your image using Versamark and your favorite color of embossing powder, remove the excess and melt the powder with the heat tool. Then sponge the ink color over the embossed image and voila, you have the emboss resist technique done!

For my card I used two snowman, Snowman Joy from So Suzy Stamps and Snowperson Neiva from Crackerbox Palace and the Joy by Terri sentiment. I embossed over a Whisper White  card stock the three images using Versamark and White Embossing Powder and then I cut each using a circle ornament. I also used a piece of Whisper White card stock as second layer that I dry embossed and pasted over the pool party card base.

I sponged each ornament with a different color of classic ink from Stampin Up. I used Pool Party, Pink Pirouette and Pear Pizzazz. I pasted the ornament over the card using foam tape and to embellish the card, I stamped in a separate piece of whisper white paper two Bow Small using Memento Ink Paris Dusk , colored each bow with copic markers and fussy cut with scissors.
