Pattern combination with papers
Hello everyone, Martha Lucia here to share with you a colorful card that I made using the Winter Bliss paper pack. I want to be sure that you remember that these papers are perfect for the winter season and to be honest it has my favorites colors!
I started this card using a piece of cardstock of 12″x5-1/2″. Are you asking why? The answer is very simple, This card has 3 different folds that make it very special. To create these folds I scored on the 12″ side on 4-1/4″, 7-1/4″ and 10-1/4″. Then I covered all the faces with layers of different designs from the Winter Bliss paper collection and created a belt to close and secure the card.
To create the belt I used a piece of card stock of 1″x12″ and folded around of the card. Next, I covered the front and back with with a layer of decorated paper. Then I selected one quote from the Sentiments Quotes Cards from Quite Quotes and die cut with one of the Die-Namics Stitched Arch Stax from MFT and created a mat with a half doily paper that I inked with Pixie Pink PowderPuff Chalk Ink.
To embellish the card I added some liquid drops with Nuvo Crystal Drops in Caribbean Ocean and Red Berry.
