SO SUZY STAMPS BLOG HOP

This is my card using one of the Top Ten Stamps, Two Cats in a Tree. Here is how I created this card:
- Cut the base using Whisper White card stock. The size is 4-1/4″x11 and I made score in 5-1/2″
- Mask the lower part of the base to create a mountain using masking paper.
- On the upper of the masking paper, apply distress ink to all the surface. The colors of Ink that I used were Fossilized Amber, Mustard Seed and Spiced Marmalade.
- Remove the masking paper.
- Ink the stamp Two Cats in a Tree using markers. I used Early Espresso for the tree, Old Olive for the leaves, Tangerine Tango for the birds, Basic Gray for the cats and Real Red for the hearts.
- Stamp the image over the inked base.
- Stamp the sentiment over using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. This message is part of the stamp Forever and Ever.
- Take a piece of Crumb Cake card stock of 4-1/4″ x 2-3/4″ and cut the die cut Heart Ribbon on the lower border. Keep the negative and positive parts.
- Using a White Gel pen create a stitched border around of the die cut parts.
- Paste the negative part on top of the inked part and the heart ribbon using dimensionals to enhance the design.
