Hello crafty friends! today I have a fun technique to share with you. With this technique you can give texture to your die cuts and create amazing designs in your cards or scrapbook pages. Take a look at my card, perfect for Valentine’s Day:

TEXTURE WITH GLUE

Creating this was very easy, you only need Craft & Hobby PVA Glue and watercolor paper. Let me show how easy it is:

First cut the heart using a die cut and watercolor paper. You can use any size of die cut but for this card I used a medium sized heart.

Take the Craft & Hobby PVA Glue and literally draw over the die cut piece. You can create any drawing over the piece. And let it the dry for about 8 hours.

When the glue is totally dry you can paint the design using distress inks or any other ink. I used Distress Inks in colors Picked Raspberry and Candied Apple.

Then I applied a layer of Perfect Pearls color Gold to give it a shiny touch.

To create the base of the heart I stamped some ink splatters using images from the stamp set Uh Oh Ink Splatter by Joy Clair with Kaleidacolor Baby Powder Ink from Imagine over a whisper white piece of card stock. I cut this piece with a Wonky Stitched Nesting Die Cut from Gina Marie Designs.

Paste the stamped layer over the card base and paste the designed heart over this using a lot of zapdots. Stamp a message from the stamp set Dino Love by Joy Clair and paste partially over the heart.

Now the card is finalized and you will notice the different heights and wonderful texture that you have on the heart!
