THANK YOU SCORED CARD

Thank you scored card is the idea that I am sharing today. It is easy, fun and beautiful, and if you use the amazing So Suzy Stamps, you will love it even more!

THANK YOU SCORED CARD

The process for creating this card is very simple. I decided to use my favorite color of card stock: Whisper White and I cut the base in regular size 4-1/4″x11″ with score in 5-1/2″. Then I cut a second layer of 4-1/8″x5-3/8″ and I worked my designs over this layer.

First I stamped the big Thank You sentiment using the color Narwhal of Law Fawn and then I stamped the three different leaves using Kaleidacolor Ink. I selected the Melon Melody collection and I used the MISTI to speed the process because it makes it very easy to ink all the stamps and stamp them at the same time. I just have to play with my ink pad and be careful to not contaminate the colors.

Of course these images are available in our newly rennovated So Suzy Store, and you can find them easily by clicking over the names. Thank You sentiment, Maple LeafAsh Leaf and Chestnut Leaf

The next step was to create the score lines inside of my layer. First I created with the score trimmer a frame between the Thank You and then I scored on intervals of 1″.

To add a dimension over the leaves I apply distress ink in color mustard seed over the leaves using a blending tool before pasting the layer directly over the card base.THANK YOU SCORED CARD

As a final touch I sprayed the entire card with Shimmer Spritz and, voila, my card is finished.

I hope you like my Thank you scored card! I know the photos do not do the techniques justice, but it came out beautiful!
