Hello everyone,  I am here to share with you a summer card that I made using a stencil with floral design, the Wild Daisy Small size one of my favorites stencils since the beginning in Rebecca Baer Design Team. Take a look at my card:

Creating this card was a simple process:

  1. Cut the base of the card using Whisper White card stock. The size is 5-1/2″x8-1/2″, with score in 4-1/4′ on long side.
  2. Cut a second layer using Whisper White card stock and an a decorated die cut frame. I used one from Gina Marie with inside scallop and stitched border.
  3. Take the left over piece of inside of the die cut and work with your stencil on this.
  4. Secure this piece over your mat using Rebecca Baer Masking Tape and play around of the card stock with your stencil. Start with the layer one of the stencil, it is the stencil that have the open areas.
  5. Apply the light color of Distress Ink, I used the Mustard Seed, then on the center I applied the Spiced Marmalade.
  6. Put over the layer one of the stencil the second layer, this is the layer with the details. You only need the align the dots of the corners. Secure it with Rebecca Baer Masking Tape.
  7. Apply a dark color of Distress Ink. I used Fired Brick.
  8. Paste the decorated border frame over the card base using dimensional or zapdots.
  9. Paste the stenciled piece over the card base using snail adhesive or Helmar Runner.
  10. Stamp your sentiment using VersaFine Onix of Image.
