3D Paper Flowers – Susan’s Autumn Flora Collection
Hello crafty friends, today I have two different cards created with 3D Paper Flowers. This is a easiest way to make amazing flowers with the Susan’s Autumn Flora Collection by Spellbinders.
My passion for flowers is highly recognized but before to have the amazing dies of Susan’s Autumn Flora Collection in my hands, all my flowers where stamped and colored. However, I had the pleasure to play with these and let me tell you that I am falling in love with the entire collection. Let me show you my first card:
On the above card, I created a soft Hydrangea using white smooth card stock. Additionally, for the leaves, I used light green card stock. First, I die cut three set of flowers and two sets of leaves. Then, I colored each flower with Illustrator Markers. Before to assemble, I just followed the easy steps that Susan well explain in her video. You will find the video at the end of this post.
Before to assemble the Hydrangea, I die cut three of the dies included on the Shapeabilities Oval Coronet Etched Dies Flourished Fretwork by Becca Feeken. It is one of my favorites and I thought the oval design is perfect to have the Autumn Hydrangea Etched Dies from Susan’s Autumn Flora by Susan Tierney-Cockburn.
To give a little more interest to my card, I splattered the entire surface with gold ink and added some tiny brown jewels.

The second card is featuring a different die cut, the Oriental Poppy Etched Dies from Susan´s Autumn Flora Collection. This set is totally different and so beautiful. With these die is very easy create big flowers. On this card, I cut the flowers from designer paper and followed the video tutorial to create the poppies.
The shape and laced background on my card is thanks to the versatility of the Shapeabilities Rosa Diamante Etched Dies Flourished Fretwork by Becca Feeken and the sentiments is one of the words included on a past small die club.
