Adding Dimension to Digital Stamps
I love using digital stamps. They are convenient, easy to keep organized on the computer and are cheaper than traditional stamps. They are great to explore techniques or simply to use in natural way! Today, I want to share two super simple cards adding dimension to the digital stamps. I didn’t use any special technique, just print the images and colored them with alcohol markers but let me give you the details.
I printed my digital stamps, in this case the Floral Joy Digital Set and Spring Floral Basket, onto white card stock and colored the flowers with TriBlend Markers from Spectrum Noir. On the above card, I used a circle die cut to cut the image and with scissors I partially cut the flowers to create the out frame effect.
About the cards:
I splattered the card base with gold ink and pasted the cover die only around the borders and leaving the leaves free. Then, using 3D foam tape, I pasted the circle that I die cut with the flower and sentiment from Floral Joy set.
The above card is also a CAS card. I just pasted a decorated rectangle layer with 3D Foam Squares over a Bermuda Bay card base. Additionally, I cut a tag frame using the same color of the base and pasted it over the white layer. The Relax sentiment is part of the Shadow of the Almighty stamp set.
One of my tips to have different highs or dimension in a project is using crafty foam tape, adhesive dots and e-z runners. All these adhesives are amazing and recommended for paper crafts.
