ADORNit Art Play Coloring Book

Hello friends, I have a wonderful news to share with you. I was selected as ADORNit ‘it’ Girl Ambassador for the next three months and I am so happy to share with you the fabulous products that ADORNit has to offering.

Today, I want to show you some paper bags that I made using the ADORNit Art Play Coloring Book called Calendar Girls Mini , this is one of the wonderful titles that you can find. All ADORNit Art Play Coloring Books have 12 illustrations that you can color with coloring pencils, watercolor pencils, markers, gel pens, watercolor paints, alcohol inks and more!!!

To make these packages I used gift paper bags craft and white with a chevron design. I put inside small details or “monthly incentives like I called” and folding the large lap of the bags. Then I decorated the bags with my painted illustrations.

I colored each illustration using different mediums. For January Girl I used Watercolor Pencils from Leisure Arts  and was very easy to use these directly on the Art Play Color Book because all the pages are made in watercolor paper.  To decorate the bag, I created some banner strips using ADORNit Rhapsody Tickertape – Rhapsody Bop designer paper. I stapled these on top and embellished with a bow made in natural hemp twine. The final touch, the word Hello in gold and black that I cut from the ADORNit Washi Tape “Hello” and some transparent drops that I added with Novu Crystal Drops Morning Dew.

I colored the February Girl and March Girl illustrations with a combination of Premium Colored Pencils  with Watercolor Pencils (hair), both from Leisure Arts,  and I love the result. The colors blended very easy and well and I could keep the control of the tones. To decorate these bags I also used the ADORNit Rhapsody Tickertape – Rhapsody Bop designer paper that I cut with detailed punches and decorated with ADORNit Washi Tape “Arrow Washi” and “Hello Washi”, buttons, staples and twine on different colors.

I hope my project inspires you to use the ADORNit Art Play Coloring Books, They are fun, relaxing and the possibilities to create with the illustrations are unlimited. They have the perfect size to create cards, use with die cuts, just like I made on February Girl or use punches.
