Hello crafty friends, today I have a news that made my heart so happy. The new Bella Crafts Winter Edition is up and it include a set of projects created by me with Joy Clair Designs Stamps.

To make my projects, I used the Floral Friendship Digital Stamp. I printed all my images onto White Smooth Card Stock and then, I created different looks using alcohol markers from Spectrum Noir. Additionally, to give the Christmas touch, I used some sentiments from the Santa’s Favorite and Making Memories Digital Stamps.

Today I will share the details of one of the cards. I pick up the Slimline design to start:

1. Cut the card base using White Smooth card stock. Normally the size that I use is 8-1/2″ x 7″ with score in 3-1/2″ on the short side.
2. Cut a second layer using onto designer paper using one of the Layering Rectangle Slimline Dies.
3. For the third layer, you can also use White Smooth Card Stock. Or if you prefer another pattern of designer paper.
4. Die cut the third layer using one of the Double Roped Rectangle Slimline Dies.
5. Splatter the layer with shimmer or any other medium to add more interest to the layer.
6. Color the flowers with your favorite tones using Spectrum Noir alcohol markers. On my model, I used the Vintage Blue Blend TriBlend Marker and the Leaf Green Blen and Yellow Green Blend TriBlend Markers for the leaves.

TIP:

• To obtain a different look on your images, you can decide if you print the digital stamps in a specific color. To make this card I decided to use sepia tone.
• Also to add dimension, just use crafty foam tape and/or 3D Foam Squares.
