BENDI CARD FOR MOTHERS DAY
Bendi Cards are now trending and I discovered that it is very easy to make this type of cards. To create this, I used a digital cutting file from The Cutting Cafe and I only spent 5 to 10 minutes cutting and assembling the pieces. Of course I needed to use the fabulous papers that Quick Quotes Scrapbook Paper has for mother’s day and my choice was 49 Shades of Grey 105. Take a look at my card:
This card is composed by three pieces. The base is plain and the other two are curved with different sizes. I cut the entire base using green card stock and then I cut the layers using 49 Shades of Grey 105. I die cut two different sentiments using Chiffon 104 and the white side of Farmhouse 104 to create the shadow words. I also cut two different butterflies using Farmhouse 104.
I sponged the big butterfly using three colors of PowderPuff Chalk Ink: Coral, Blue Lagoon and Blue Jeans. And the small butterfly using Blue Lagoon, Soft Sage and Creamy Cocoa. I pasted these butterflies over the decorated card base using glue dots and the die cut words using Xiron adhesive.
To finalize the decoration of the Bendi Card for Mother’s Day, I just added a few drops of Dandelion Yellow Novu Crystal Drops.
