Bible Journaling Inspiration
Hello there! Today I have a Bible Journaling inspiration and tutorial to share with you using creations of Rita Barakat. I am fascinated with her products. Their are made with her original mixed media art and I am a new designer for her team. You can find the products of Rita Barakat HERE in her Etsy Store and more inspiration in HERE in her website. Now is time to take a look at my Bible Journaling Inspiration and know how to make it:
Normally, I prepared the pages of my bible jornaling in advance applying clear or transparent gesso and let it dry naturally.
Then I painted some scribbles over the page using 3 different colors of Gelattos. I used 3 different blues from Faber Castell.
After that, I added some drops of water to the page with a spray bottle and mixed the colors with a paint brush. I made circular movements with the colors to mix the three different colors and create the perfect look that simulate the sky with clouds.
I pasted the beautiful mixed media image from Rita Barakat over the painted page and using VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink, I stamped the sentiment in a free area. (Please keep me the secret, but this sentiment is a sneak peak from a new Joy Clair stamp set)
Then I added some little dots around the image using Fineliner pens from Arteza and some white clouds created with the He is Raisen die cut set.
As you noticed the images from Rita Barakat are ready to use and realized with different designs and color texture. Also I want to invite you to join the Rise And Shine with Rita Barakat Facebook Group, you will find a great community and different style of inspirations.
Super inspiration and great tips and technique. Thanks for sharing. Many Blessings.
