Loving Mom colored card

Loving Mom colored card is a project that I made using one stamp set from Kennedy Grace Creations and Prismacolor Premier Color Pencils mixed with ink. Take a look at my card: I started worked on this card by stamp the big lili flower with a light ink and masking technique over a whisper white layer of cardstock. I used the Memento Desert Sand ink and I first stamped the flower of the center and then the laterals. The last one was the small. I used the masking technique to keep the individual design of each flower and don’t overlap the...

Hello Friends emboss card

Serenade Inspiration

Hello everyone, Martha Lucia here to share a scrapbook page that I made using the Serenade papers – one of my favorites for their colors and designs. Take a look at my page: To create this page I used one photo of my daughter Mariantonia, she is very special and funny and I used the quote that she has on her Instagram and one of pre-design postal/cards styles available in my Canon PIXMA TS 9020.  With this option, I just have to select the photo that I want to use. I also have the option of edit the photo previously if I wanted. Then I...

Can we make something different?

Can we make something different? Yes, of course!!! The imagination is unlimited and today is one of these day in that you see other Martha Lucia. I said other because I am using different colors, stretching stamps and creating two models of cards atypical of mine. Why? Because I think some times we asked if we can make something different! My first card was created with the stamp set Rose Sentiments and before to make this card I never imagine this set in a Halloween card! Maybe I am wrong but this set is one of the most romantic sets that...

1,2,3… Easy Halloween Card

Halloween is around the corner and to be honest I don’t celebrate this holiday with scary parties or costumes, but I love to make Halloween cards with different colors and non-traditional images and this is one of those. To create this card I used some sprays from Imagine that you will love! But first take a look at my card: The process of this was very simple; I took a piece of whisper white card stock and a background stencil. I selected Paisley Swirl Petite from Rebecca Baer Collection and sprayed the free areas of the stencil with two...

Non traditional colors for Christmas

Hello everyone, today I have a card that I made using non traditional colors for Christmas. Normally we use green, red, white and chocolate but today I am using pastel colors. Take a look at my card: I made this card using the emboss resist technique. You might remember how it works but let me share with you how simple it is. You only need to stamp your image using Versamark and your favorite color of embossing powder, remove the excess and melt the powder with the heat tool. Then sponge the ink color over the embossed image and voila, you...

Wood Coloring & Embossing

Textures are always amazing and when you create over non-traditional materials like wood, you feel a double satisfaction! In this project I am sharing with you how to color the wood pieces and how to emboss them if you want. Take a look at my card: It is actually very easy to find beautiful designs on wood in craft stores. I have this feather that was created by Unique Laser Designs and I decided to have on it a double texture effect. With this in mind, I applied GooseBumps with the Dauber Top bottle. This product came in two presentations,...
