Blooming in Life – New collection of Joy Clair Designs

Hello friends, welcome to Blooming in Life the New collection of Joy Clair Designs. Today we are presenting seven different stamp sets that we are loving. This is my turn to show you two of the new digital stamps. They are Stronger Roses and Just Butterflies.

Stronger Roses is a fabulous digital stamp that includes 2 different branch of flowers, one sentiment and an amazing quote.

To make my first card, I just resized the images and printed onto White Smooth Card stock. I used my ink-jet printer and this card stock that works very well with the printer and the alcohol markers. After print the images, I colored them with TriBlend Markers from Spectrum Noir. The colors that I used were Orange Blend (OR1, OR2 and OR3), Coral Shades (CR7, CR8 and CR10) and Gold Yellow Blend (GY2, GY3 and GY5). Additionally, I colored the leaves with Light Green Blend (LG1, LG3 and LG5).

To add more interest to the card, I used the partial die cutting technique. With that, some leaves are free over the black strip and lower part of the card.

The second card, is featuring the Just Butterflies Digital Stamps. Just Butterflies includes two different designs of butterflies and 4 sentiments perfect for different occasions .

I printed several times one of the butterfly designs in different sizes and the other in a big size. I used White Smooth Card Stock and just colored the big butterfly with TriBlend markers from Spectrum Noir. The colors that I used were Dark Red Blend (DR1, DR3 and DR4), Dark Red Shadows (DR5, DR6 and DR7) and Ice Grey Blend (IG2, IG4 and IG5).

To make the butterfly more special, I just add some tiny white dots with a gel pen.

Additionally, I splattered a white layer with sparkle shimmer and pasted the black and white butterflies directly over it. Then, I added the sentiment and the colored butterfly.

PERFECT COMBINATION

My last card is a combination of the two stamps that I am featuring today. Stronger Roses, include an amazing quote that is perfect for cards or journaling. I decided to print it onto White Smooth Card Stock and colored the strong words with DR4 Illustrator Marker. Then, I resized the layer with one of the new Rectangle Fancy Frame Die added to the store today.

For the background, I used a white smooth layer and inked it with Harmony Water Reactive Inks from Spectrum Noir. This time I used the Spring Meadow, Grasshopper, Frozen Lake and Oasis. As special touch, I colored a small butterfly from the Just Butterflies digital stamps and colored it with TriBlend Markers: Blue Turquoise Shades, Dual Green Blend, Lavender Blend, Pale Pink Shades and Muted Brown Blend.
