Christmas Card – Bearry Merry
Hello crafty friends! I’m back with Creative Vision Stamps and a Christmas Card – Bearry Merry. It is a very cute stamp set recently released, that I am sure you will love it!
The process to create this card was very simple:
- Cut the card base using Balmy Blue Cardstock.
- Cut a second layer using Whisper White Card Stock.
- From the second layer cut a circle Christmas ornament and keep the negative part.
- Stamp over the Christmas ornament the images of the two trees included on the stamp set Bearry Merry or if you prefer you can also stamp the Bears, using different colors of green. In my model I used VersaFine Clair in three different tones: Green Oasis, Shady Lane and Verdant and embossed all the images with Clear Embossing Powder.
- Sponge the upper part of the ornament with Balmy Blue Classic Ink.
- Paste a strip of coordinated designer paper on the left side of your cardbase.
- Resize the negative part of the second layer – whisper white- with a cross stitched rectangle die cut. I used one from Gina Marie Designs.
- Stamp the one of the message included on the stamp set Bearry Merry on the top part using VersaFine Satin Red
- Tie a bow on your stamped ornament using red and white bakers twine and keep the thread long to paste the upper end behind of the second layer.
- Paste the second layer with snail adhesive, including the end of the bakers twine.
- Paste your stamped ornament on the same place that you cut using dimensionals.
