Christmas Cocoa in a Gift Card
Delicata Ink is one of the most versatile products that you can find to create projects during this season, and to be honest for all seasons because now we have a great collection of colors that we can use in our crafts. Today I am sharing with you how to watercolor with Delicata. It is easy, quick and at same time you will obtain the fantastic shimmer that only this ink can offer.
Every year it becomes most common to give as present gift cards from different stores. But if you are like me, I always want to make it very special and unforgettable. With today’s idea ideas you can produce it in series and work with your kids at the same time.
CARD DETAILS:
I started working on this gift card holder by stamping over watercolor paper the cup image using Memento Desert Sand, this is a light color that can be easily cover with the Delicata Celestial Copper Ink, that was the ink that I applied inside of the cup using an aqua painter. With Delicata Ruby Red I stamped and colored some details to decorate the cup. The special detail on the cup is the top of cream. I made this using White Amplify, but my special tip is that the original image are marshmallows and I applied and heat the Amplify to one by one.
I fussy cut all the pieces with scissors and created the layers of the gift card holder. I kept the card concept so I could have space inside of the card to add my personal message and on top of the card base, I cut three different layers using decorating paper and card stock. With a punch I created the window to put the gift card inside.
Using Delicata Dark Brown I stamped the sentiment over the top layer and then I assembled all the layers over the card base with Tear it Tape! and pasted the watercolor cup using double sided foam tape.
Easy and fun to make don’t you think?
Love it! Amazing design.
