Cinco de Mayo stamped cards
Hi there, Did you enjoy the May 2020 release blog hop from Joy Clair Designs? I am so happy with the new products and all the comments that you gave to my projects. Today I have some projects with Spicy Like That set.
Spicy Like That is a digital set perfect for celebrations. This set includes fun images and sentiments. For my first card, I used the margarita cup and Happy Cinco sentiment. I inked the background with three different colors of Harmony Ink from Spectrum Noir, Oasis, Ocean Blue and Honey Pot with blender brushes. Then, I place a star stencil over the entire layer and inked the free areas with the Ocean Blue Ink.
I die cut the sentiment with a moon shape and pasted it over the inked layer with crafty foam tape. Additionally, I colored the margarita cup with Illustrator Markers from Spectrum Noir. The markers that I used were: TB3 & TB4; LG2 & LG3; LG5, AG5, DG1, FS2. As final touch, I pasted with Dual Tip Glue Pen some start sprinkles from Kat Scrappiness.
The bellow card is also a celebration card. I just printed, colored and cut the images from the pdf version of Spicy Like That and pasted them with crafty foam tape over a decorated layered card.
With Rinea Foiled Paper Sapphire/Gold Glossy in addition with the Medallion Cover Plate Die from Kat Scrappiness, to create the second layer. I pasted the foiled layer with Dual Tip Glue Pen directly over the card base. Additionally, to cut the circle, I used one of the embossed edge circle dies.
From the Spicy Like That Digital set , 50% of proceeds will be going to Feeding America Organization. Charity organization that is working very hard to feed low income families during these pandemic times and continually.
Thank you for stopping by and see you soon with more inspiration!
