Coffee House Card

Good morning friends! Today I am up with a card that I made to celebrate the friendship using two stamp sets from Joy Clair Stamps, Dwelling Place and Coffee Quotes. Take a look at my winter card:

The Dwelling Place is a Color by Faith stamp set that include two different designs of houses and amazing sentiments. I decided to use one of this in my card because in my original country is very usual that you take a coffee in your house  with friends. Colombia has one of the best coffees and always the family celebrate moments around a cup of coffee.

The base of my card is Whisper White and I made a dry embossing on it using the Softly Falling Embossing Folder to create the snow texture on it. Then in a separate piece of White card stock I stamped one of the houses and the sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored the house with Watercolor Real Brush Pens from Arteza.

I cut the painted layer using the Distressed Edge Rectangle Dies by Kat Scrappiness. I also cut the same die using white foam to paste it behind of the image and have a dimensional look. In a separate piece of white card stock I stamped one of the quotes included on the stamp set Coffee Quotes with Memento Rhubarb Stalk Ink and cut it with two different die cuts to combine the distressed look and create effect of conversation.

This is a clear and simple model that I love and the combination of these stamp sets bring us a lot of possibilities. I would love to add this card to the 2018 Fall & Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.
