Cut & Emboss Folders to Cards
Hello there! I am so excited to share with you this post. I am fascinated with these new products from Spellbinders, the Cut & Emboss Folders to cards. These are embossing folders with etched dies embedded inside to cut and emboss in one pass. Everything is one single step and in the same easy way that you always use your die cut machine.
On the above card, I used the Kyoto Cut & Emboss Folder. This is 5×7 folder with a Japanese design. Well, I decided to turn it and make an horizontal card. I embossed the second layer and pasted it directly over the card base. Then using two of die cuts included on a past Large Die of the Month Club from Spellbinders, I cut the framed heart and pasted it over the decorated layer using Crafty Foam Tape White.
As final touch, I added a complete sentiment over a strip created with the same color of the card base card stock. These words are part of the Sentimental Words Clear Stamp Set from Spellbinders and added some coordinated color sequins.
My next two projects of today were made using the Lahaina Cut & Emboss Folder. This a regular size embossing folder with a background filled with a variety of tropical leaves with cut lines that accents a few of the designs.
To make this card, I just inked one of the sides of the Lahaina Cut & Emboss Folder using Kaleidacolor Ink and I obtained this colorful and great design. I pasted the cut & embossed layer over the card base using Crafty Foam Tape and added a Hi sentiment.
To create the HI sentiment, I stocked several negative parts of the Hi word included on the June 2019 Large Die of the Month Club from Spellbinders. As final touch I insert the letters of the HI word on the corresponding place but this time using a different color from the negative part. I love how they turned out.
My last card is an elegant design created with shimmer white paper and the Lahaina Cut & Emboss Folder. This time I just added behind of the die cut spaces a piece of Glossy Gold Rinea Foiled Paper and added a Cherish sentiment from the one past Large Die of the Month Club from Spellbinders, the same Large Die Club that I used to embellish the first card of this post.
