Hello crafty friends! Today I am up with a Die Cut Card featuring the amazing Die Cuts from Rita Barakat.

Die Cut Card

The base of my card is Night of Navy card stock and the size is 4-1/4″ x 8-1/2″ with score in 4-1/4″. The second layer is a piece of Watercolor paper that I use to create a faux watercolor technique. To make this I used Double Ended Markers from Leisure Arts and water to mix the colors over the craft mat. Then I passed the watercolor piece over the diluted color and let the paper dry naturally.

When the watercolor paper was totally dry, I die cut it using the Diamond Stripe Square Die from Reverse Confetti. I keep the negative Diamond of the center for a future project. I used a square die cut to of the same size of the diamond and mat it with a night of navy square. Pasted it opposite way over the die cut piece and added the green fairy included on The Veil of the Fairies Collection of Rita Barakat. I completed the design from a sentiment included on the stamp set Friendship Greetings from Kat Scrappiness.

Thank you for stopping by and take a look to Rita Barakat blog and store. She is constantly adding new projects and products.
