As you may remember, I am proud designer for both companies and today I prepared two different projects to share with you. Some of my passions are techniques and I decided to apply some of them in my first creation. For this I used the die cut called Flower Vases from DieNamites and the stamp Celebramos Contigo from the Spanish Collection of So Suzy Stamps.
The base of my card is Very Vanilla and the second layer is watercolor paper. The first thing that I made was cut the Flower Vases and color this using watercolor crayons, then using the hidden die cut technique I removed the colored part and I colored the background using Kaleidacolor Vine Tomato combined with INK Potion No. 9. I pasted the original die cut in place and stamped the Spanish Sentiment using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.
In my next card I used the Whisper White card stock for the base and second layer and the die cut Fancy Heart from DieNamites. I stamped the sentiment Forever and Ever from So Suzy Stamps, divided this in two parts. The first to the upper part and the second for the lower. I used Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I made a dry embossing over this second layer using the Mini Hearts Embossing Folder from Darice and decorated the left upper corner with two mini banners in dark red and gold glimmer paper that I secured with a gold stapler, before pasting it over the card base.
I cut the die cut Fancy Heart from DieNamites using a piece of decorated paper in a dark red and also I cut a partial flower from this using gold glimmer paper. I pasted the decorated die cut over the card using dimensionals or double sided tape.
