DIENAMITES AND SO SUZY STAMPS DAY 2

Welcome to the second and last day of DieNamites and So Suzy Stamps Blog Hop, the perfect combination! You probably got here from So Suzy’s Blog and  enjoyed our hop since yesterday. If not, you can see our first day of hop HERE.

The base of my card is Crumb Cake and I used Real Red card stock for the second layer. For the third layer I used a decorated paper from the 49 Shades of Gray Collection of Quick Quotes. I cut a left side border using a spiral punch to give to my project a notebook concept, to go with the handwriting of the decorated paper. I cut the heart ribbon and the little heart using red glimmer paper and stamped the sentiment Tu alegras mis dias using VersaFine Onix and Clear Embossing Powder.

The second card has a base in Bermuda Bay card stock and a second layer Whisper White. Over this I stamped the Sassy Squiggle Heart from So Suzy Stamps using Pool to Navy and Light to Dark Peach Ombré Ink Pads from Hero Arts. Then I cut the Jeans Pocket die cut from DieNamites using another piece of decorated paper from the 49 Shades of Gray from Quick Quotes and I enhanced the stitches using a white gel pen. Also, I stamped over the pocket the sentiment Miss You from So Suzy Stamps using VersaMark and White Embossing Powder. As a final touch I added a few threads of crisp cantaloupe thick baker´s twine.
