Hi there, I want to share some of my cards with the Prized Life digital set. Today I will show you how to make an easy coloring with alcohol markers and digital stamps. I am using Alcohol Markers from Spectrum Noir. In addition, I am creating with the same concept the three cards: one main image and one sentiment.

To make my first card I just arranged three times the same flower on one of the sides of the front panel. The digital stamps from Joy Clair Designs include three different formats, I prefer to work with png format. It let me take advantage of the transparency.

COLORING TIPS:

Sometimes coloring can intimidate but I find it the most relaxing therapy. The Illustrator markers have a Japanese tip. It is flexible and you can simply follow the lines of the paper and create easy shadows with two colors of markers and a blender. I made this on this card. With two pink colors and two gray colors, I created the look. Normally, I start the coloring process with the lightest color and then create the shadow with the dark. In addition, I apply a second layer of the lightest color and enhance the details with the dark.

SPECIAL DETAILS:

The second card follow the same design concept of the first. I arranged three of the flowers included on the Prized Life Digital Set and one sentiment and arranged all over one side of the top layer.

I colored this with Illustrator Markers from Spectrum Noir and as final touch, I splatered with Metallic White Shimmer Paint.

The third and last one card is using the nest and sentiment on the center of the card. I just decorated it using a scallop die border from RG and the Just Stitch Frame available at Joy Clair Designs.

You have the opportunity to learn a lot of coloring techniques but following just the light on an image and using a few elements you can create beautiful things. For me coloring is made to applied the rule of less is more!

Thank you for stopping by and keep in touch because before Friday we will be adding more products to the store!
