Easy Pointillism Technique
Hello crafty friends, today I have a special card to share with you. This is using an easy pointillism technique on the background of the stamp. I am featuring images from the Count Me In Digital Stamps from Joy Clair Designs.
This floral frame can be used in different positions and in different shaped cards. This is a 5-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ square card created with white smooth cardstock. To decorate the base, I die cut two decorative layers using two different colors of card stock. I used silver and dark blue.
Then, I printed the frame onto white smooth cardstock including one of the sentiments from the Count Me In Digital Stamps. Additionally with Illustrator Markers from Spectrum Noir, I starting adding color around the flowers using the Puntillism Technique.
What is Pointillism Technique
Pointillism is a painting or drawing technique that involves placing small dots of color in close proximity to each other to create a larger image.
As final touch, I added a thin layer of Glossy Highlights over some of the flowers. It gave a shiny touch and made my card more special.
Thanks for stopping by to see my easy pointillism technique. See you soon with more inspiration!
