Elegant Twist Cards with Spellbinders
Today I have a set of Elegant Twist Cards with Spellbinders by Becca Feeken. I love the different style of this these unique dies.
My first card is featuring the Elegant Twist Ovals Etched Dies. It is a set of 7 oval dies. Additionally, you can create beautiful braided ovals and layer them with other oval designs for dimension. This set die-cuts three elegant twist ovals when nested together.
I die cut the two larges braided ovals onto white card stock to use it as top layer. Then, I inked the with rainbow colors of ink the top layer of the card base and pasted the die cut onto it using 3D Foam Squares.
To embellish the card, I stamped on the center the ovals a sentiment from the stamp set Coffee First by Joy Clair. In a separate piece of card stock, I also stamped the cat image from the same stamp set. Additionally, I die cut the corresponding nested border in a contrast color and pasted it to frame the sentiment. My final touch, a few star bright sprinkles.
On my second card, I am featuring the Splendid Trilliant Etched Dies from Spellbinders by Becca Feeken. This is a set of five thin metal dies. It includes an elegant frame design with three pieces that change up the look. It can be a solid piece, an intricate design with a solid center or the center can be cut out. The choice is yours. There is also a coordinating corner with a choice of a solid piece or an intricate inlay pattern to go inside.
To the above card, I die cut the intricate die onto white card stock without use the solid die. Additionally, I cut the coordinated corner from the same piece. Then, to decorate the solid center of the intricate die, I die cut the Die D-Lites Floral Hi Etched Die onto Sapphire Blue/Gold Rinea Foiled Paper and enhanced the word with white card stock.
On my last card, I totally changed the style and create a colorful card, perfect for summer. I die cut the Splendid Trilliant Etched Dies from Spellbinders by Becca Feeken. Additionally, I used one of the center pieces and stamped a sentiment on it from the stamp set Life is Sweet from Joy Clair. As final touch, I just added two butterflies included on the Die D-Lites Butterfly Frame -A- Long Etched Dies.
