More than enough flowers and stamps
Hello everyone, today I have an special project to share with you. Always I said that the beautiful paper flowers from Secret Garden combine with all, die cuts, stamps, stencils and many more elements. Well today I decided to show you one of this samples. As you know I always participate of Joy Clair Monthly Challenge and I made one single project to show that this is possible. Take a look at my card:
This month the Joy Clair Challenge requested to the designers that use a stencil and I started my card using Swirl Stencil, one of my favorites from Hero Arts with Creative Medium Shimmer from Imagine over Natural White cardstock. In a separate piece of Whisper White card stock I stamped the first cup from the stamp set My Cup is Runneth Over from Joy Clair using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored with Distress Ink Spiced Marmalade and Gathered Twigs. I fussy cut the cup with my scissors..
I also stamped in a separate piece of Natural white cardstock one of the sentiments included on My Cup is Runneth Over Stamp set using Delicata Sapphire Blue from Imagine. I cut this image using one of the die cuts from the Cross Stitched Rectangle set from Gina Marie Designs. I pasted the die cut with the sentiment using double sided fun foam on the right side of the stenciled piece and the stamped cup on the left side. Then I added the entire piece over a Real Red cardbase.
To embellish the card I used the fantastic and unique Secret Garden flowers. and as you can see on this project the colors coordinate perfectly with the inks and cardstock that I used on this project. On this card I used four Ivory English Roses and one red Wild Rose. The special touch is the baby blue Spiral Steamer that looks great inside of the flowers and looks like an straw on the cup, don’t you think?
You can buy these and all the flowers available on Secret Garden Store and take advantage of the fabulous promotion of FREE SHIPPING in order of $20 dollars or more. Martha, my friend, I absolutely love this card! TFS! Hugs, Sabrina
This is gorgeous, Martha. I love this sentiment. We surely do have FAR MORE than we need, and that’s pretty much where my blog name (My Cup Runneth Over) came from. We are very blessed in this country. I love your sweet card, and of course, I welcome you to share it with us at Word Art Wednesday so it gets more exposure. Have a blessed week, my friend.
