FEATURING TULIP BACKGROUND
Today some of the members of the Design Team of So Suzy Stamps are participating in an event for featuring Tulip Background a stamp that I love to experiment techniques and create beautiful things. One more time, welcome to Stampartpapel and my space with So Suzy Stamps. Take a look at my card:
I created this using Very Vanilla card stock as card base and Always Artichoke for the second layer. For my special design I used watercolor paper. The process was very simple let me show you:
- Apply distress ink over the watercolor paper using a baby wipe. I used three different colors of distress ink Candied Apple, Mermaid Lagoon and Fossilized Amber. Let the paper dry naturally.
- Stamp the Tulip Background using Celestial Copper Delicata Metallic Ink and cover the ink with Clear Embossing Powder. Melt the powder with the heat tool.
- Assemble the layers of the card and stamp the sentiment Throw on a Crown over the base card using the Misti and Celestial Copper Delicata Ink.
- As a final touch add a copper pearl on the right corner of the layers.
As you noticed this technique is very simple and you can use the colors of inks that you like.
I hope my project inspired you and enjoyed this event with us. See you soon!
