Floral Mermaid from Rita Barakat
Hi there! Today I am up with a Floral Mermaid from Rita Barakat.
Let me share with you the process that I used to create this card:
- Cut the card base using Basics Bazzill card stock. This is a 4-1/4″ x 11″ with score in 5-1/2″.
- Cut a second layer a little small that the card base. Mine is 4″x5-14″ using a contrast color.
- Emboss the second layer with a embossing folder. I used the xxxx
- Paste the second layer of the card directly over the card base using double sided tape or any other adhnesive.
- In a separate whisper white card stock stamp the Floral Mermaid from Rita Barakat using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.
- Color the stamped Floral Mermaid from Rita Barakat with your favorite medium. I love to use my Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers.
- With scissors or with the scan & cut machine cut your stamped Floral Mermaid from Rita Barakat. I use my scissors because cutting is relaxing to me.
- Using a Memento Tuxedo Black Marker, color the border of the Floral Mermaid to give more intensity to the stamped image.
- Paste the Floral Mermaid from Rita Barakat over your decorated card base using double sided foam tape.
- Add a sentiment or embellishment. I used two hearts that I cut from glitter paper to add a magic touch.
