Floral Mermaid from Rita Barakat

Hi there! Today I am up with a Floral Mermaid from Rita Barakat.

Let me share with you the process that I used to create this card:

1. Cut the card base using Basics Bazzill card stock. This is a 4-1/4″ x 11″ with score in 5-1/2″.
2. Cut a second layer a little small that the card base. Mine is 4″x5-14″ using a contrast color.
3. Emboss the second layer with a embossing folder. I used the xxxx
4. Paste the second layer of the card directly over the card base using double sided tape or any other adhnesive.
5. In a separate whisper white card stock stamp the Floral Mermaid from Rita Barakat using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.
6. Color the stamped Floral Mermaid from Rita Barakat with your favorite medium. I love to use my Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers.
7. With scissors or with the scan & cut machine cut your stamped Floral Mermaid from Rita Barakat. I use my scissors because cutting is relaxing to me.
8. Using a Memento Tuxedo Black Marker, color the border of the Floral Mermaid to give more intensity to the stamped image.
9. Paste the Floral Mermaid from Rita Barakat over your decorated card base using double sided foam tape.
10. Add a sentiment or embellishment. I used two hearts that I cut from glitter paper to add a magic touch.
