Floral Stamped Card

Hi friends, I just pop up to share a floral stamped card that I specially created for an Instagram Hop called #seizethestamphop. This event celebrate the famous Swiss tradition “alpabzug”. During the Autumn, the cows who reside in the mountains are brought down to their lowland farms, wearing beautiful floral wreaths.

To make my card, I am using You Are Digital Stamp from Joy Clair Designs. First, I resize the beautiful flower included on You Are Stamp Set. Then, I arranged it over a piece of white smooth card stock. I printed it and colored with Classique Markers from Spectrum Noir. The colors of Classic Markers that I used were CR6, CR3, CR1 and DP3.

Additionally, I printed the sentiment, onto white smooth card stock. This was also included on the You Are Digital Stamp Set. Then, I resize it and created a mat with the Embossed Edge Rectangle Dies.

After coloring the entire card, I resized the layer with the large size of the Loopy Border Rectangle Dies. Then, I pasted it with crafy foam strips over a card base created with white smooth card stock. Finally, I completed with the framed sentiment.

COLORING TIP:

All the surfase of this card is colored with Classique Markers. For me the easier process is start with the darkers colors and move on to the lightest. On this particular card, I first painted the flowers and then, I continue with the background because for it, I used a single color.
