GOLD EMBOSSED CARD
Hi there!
I love Clear and simple cards and this is a perfect model of that. However my card has three layers of paper! White and Gold an elegant combination.
Directions:
1. With masking tape create a border on your card base. The white of the border depend of the size of the die cut letters that you want to use. In my project I created a 1″ border because the size of my die cuts is Jumbo.
2. Ink the masked area directly with the VersaMark Ink pad.
3. Cover the inked area with Gold Embossing Powder and melt the powder with the heat tool.
4. Let the card base a side for a while
5. Cut the letters or word that you want to use using the same type of cardstock. Aligne your letters over the card and select the part that you want to keep white. Cover the front and back of this part using masking tape. In my project I am using the same masking tape that I used to create the gold border on the card base.
6. Cut a piece of whisper white card stock with the same size of the from card less the wide of your border, in my sample is 5-1/2″ x 3-1/4″. Open the making tape from the back side and apply On Point Glue on the top of the letters (un covered area). Paste the letters over the card layer leaving the white area free.
7. Stamp and image on the left corner or your decorated layer if you considered that this layer is too white. In my project I stamped with VersaMark and Gold Embossing Powder one of the images from the stamp set Persian Motifs from Altenew.
8. Add a fun foam white layer behindof the decorated layer and paste over the card base aligning the gold borders.
