Halloween card with spiders
Hello everyone, Martha Lucia here to share with you a Halloween card that I made using different papers from our collections. Halloween is around the corner and I love to celebrate that day but I don’t like scary nights or scary parties, so I decided to go with “cute” spiders. Take a look at my card:
To create this card I selected the Serenade 103 to use as the second layer over the card base. Then I cut a third layer using the Honeycomb 102. I stamped the branches of the tree over the right corner and the Happy Halloween in the center of the card using PowderPuff Chalk Ink Midnight Confessions. Then I cut 9 spiders using the Serenade 103.
I pasted some spiders directly over the stamped layer and others with dimensionals to create more impact.
To be honest I love this combination of elements – the orange of the Honeycomb 102 paper and the design of this pattern is ideal for Halloween. Also the combination of dots and stripes that the Serenade 103 offers gives spiders a great look because all the spiders look totally different. It is a very fun project, easy to make and different!
