HAPPINESS IS ORNAMENTS AND STARS
Happiness is…Ornaments and stars! Welcome crafty friends, today I am sharing a card that I made combining three different stamps from So Suzy Stamps because I am too excited for Christmas! This month Suzy released a great collection of stamps and she is offering FREE SHIPPING for orders over $25 until today. But before you place your order, take a look at my card:
Creating this card was very simple:
- Cut the base of the card using Very Vanilla card stock. The size is 4-1/4″x11″ with score in 5-1/2″.
- Cut a second layer using decorated paper and paste it directly over the card base. The size is 4″x5-1/4″.
- Cut a piece of very vanilla card stock of 4″x3-1/4″ and stamp the Star Swirl using Celestial Copper Delicata Metallic Ink.
- As you noticed this is a single stamp, so to obtain a bold background, just move the stamp softly around the paper to create the dimension on the images.
- On another piece of paper, stamp the image of the Ornament Bulb Stripe using VersaMark Ink and Candy Red Embossing Powder. Melt the powder with the heat tool. Fussy cut the ornament with scissors.
- Cut some leaves with a die cut using green designer paper.
- Stamp the sentiment Happiness is… over the Very Vanilla piece using VersaMark and Candy Red embossing powder.
- Cut two tiny borders in coordinating colors (old olive)
- Assemble the card and use dimensionals to have different heights on your pieces.
Very easy, don’t you think?
I can feel Christmas getting closer and I am dreaming of all the projects I’ll make this season because Happiness is ornaments and stars!
Thank you for stopping by and see you soon! Happy shopping!
Very cute! Love the combination of the two stamps!
