Harmony Ink and Illustrator Markers with Paper Tattoos

Hi there! Create textured backgrounds with Harmony ink as a pleasure. Today I am sharing a tutorial with Spectrum Noir.

Directions:

Create the card base using high weight card stock. Sometimes this type of card stock has a special texture by themselves. You can also use Spectrum Noir White Premium Marker Pad.
Add masking paper or post it tape around of the four borders to create the frame and select the colors of Harmony Ink that you want to use as background. On this card the colors used were down to up: Harmony Frozen Lake, Harmony Ocean Blue and Harmony Honey Pot. You can apply the ink with sponge daubers, blender tools or brush blenders.
Remove the masking paper form the borders and let the inked card base a side for a while.
In a separate piece of Sprectrum Noir Premium Marker Pad stamp the flowers images included on the stamp set Paper Tattoos from Joy Clair Designs o the images that you want to color to decorate your card. You can use Finisse Alcohol Proof Ink Noir Black.
TIP:I love to stamp more images and color them to have it ready when I need it. Coloring is one of the best therapies to relax!
Color the images using the colors of Illustrator Markers of your preference. On this sample the colors used were Pink Tint PP3 and Light Yellow LY1. These are two different colors but you will noticed how well they blend together.
After color your flowers or images, cut it with your electronic machine or with scissors. To add more dimension just color the border with a True Black Illustrator Marker.
Finalize the card pasting the colored images with Crafty Foam Tape.
