How to create dimension with stamps

Hello crafty friends. Today I want to show you how to create dimension with stamps. It is an easy process that you can use with any type of stamps including the digital stamps.

The base of my card is whisper white and to make it more special, I added a Crumb Cake piece of card stock. With the Regency Swirls  3D embossing folder from Gemini by Crafters Companion, I created a textured to the crumb piece. Then, I sponged directly with a white craft ink pad to enhance some details of the texture. I let the piece a side for a while to ink dry well. At the end, I mat this piece with black card stock.

The clear stamp set Thankful for You include one big flower and four different sentiments. First, I just stamped the sunflower twice onto white card stock using Versafine Onix Ink. Second, I initiated the coloring process. Of course, I use my Illustrator Markers from Spectrum Noir but in a simple way or without a special technique. I just made color blocks and blended on the center because my intention was create dimension.

HOW TO CREATE DIMENSION

After colored the sunflowers, I  fussy cut them with scissors. Then, I cut the out side petals of one and cut inside of the interior petals to separate them. With the help of a bond folder, I curved the petals and pasted over the colored original  flower in a different angle with crafty foam tape.

The colors of Illustrator Markers that I used were OR1-GY2-GY3-CG2-CG3-CG4-RB3-TN8-EB7

Honestly, I believe that the dimension on this was the great combination between the pop up flower and the 3D Embossing Folder.

Thank you for stopping by and see you soon!
