HOW TO MAKE A MASCULINE CARD
How to make a masculine card ? Traditionally I made cards, but they usually aren’t for men. Today I have a very masculine card to share with you. I decided to create this using a complete selection of wonderful products. The papers and glimmers are from Canvas Corp Brands, the Die Cut is from Die Versions and the stamp is from Joy Clair. Take a look at my card:

Creating this card was simple:
- Cut the base using Early Espresso card stock. The size is 4-1/4″x11″ with score in 5-1/2″.
- Cut a second layer using a light piece of 7Gypsies Vintage Varsity paper. The size is 4-1/8″x5″3/8″
- Using scrap paper cut several times the die cut Retro Card from DieVersions.
- Paste temporarily the retro cars that you cut in the step before over the layer of 7Gypsies Vintage Varsity paper.
- Shake well the colors of your choice of Glimmer Mist from Tattered Angels and spray your layer. In my model, I used Glimmer Mist Dragonfly, Glimmer Mist Golden Orange and Simply Sheer Safety Orange.
- Remove the die temporal die cuts that you use to mask the paper.
- Paste this decorated layer over the base of your card.
- Stamp your sentiment using VersaFine Deep Lagoon and clear embossing powder. Cut this piece using a square die cut and create a frame using a second larger square. I used the stamp set Dad’s Day from Joy Clair.
- To decorate the frame of my sentiment, I cut the Retro Car die cut using white foam. I cut this on foam because I want to reduce the size of the car and to do this, I can simply heat the foam with my heat tool.
- After heating the foam and reducing the size of the die cut, I paint the car with Glimmer Glaze from Tattered Angels. I used Glimmer Glaze Blue Cheese and Glimmer Glaze Cowboy.
- I assemble the card and added a few embellishments like White Crinkle Ribbon from DL Art Baby Bundle Collection., with a blue stapples.
Nice and easy, right? What do you think?
All my supplies are listed on the instructions.
I hope my project inspires you to create masculine cards as well!! See you soon!
