It’s the Season with Joy Clair

Yes, It’s the Season with Joy Clair and today the design team is featuring several Christmas stamp sets for this season. Take a look at my card:

As good Floridan girls, I combined the weathers to create a Christmas card using the Tropical Penguins stamp set and the Christmas Light Background.

I used whisper white card stock to create the base and the second layer of my card. Let me share with you the process:

1. Stamp one of the lines of the Christmas Lights Background with Memento Ink using the masking technique. 
2. Stamp the penguin image in both sides using Memento Ink Tuxedo Black Ink. 
3. With different colors of Memento Ink I dressed the penguins with images with images included on the Tropical Penguins stamp set.
4. With a Memento Marker I completed and connected the penguins with the Christmas Light line. 
5. Take the colors of Distress Ink that you want to use and create the background for your card. I used four different colors of Distress Inks, xxx, xxxx,xxx and xxxx. Then Sprayed with Sheer Shimmer.

To enhance the background I decorated with a tiny dark spots and colored the light using Arteza Liner in coordinated colors.
