Joy Clair Designs Release | Day 4
Hi there! Today I’m here with Joy Clair Designs Release | Day 4. Today we have two new different stamps to our Holiday 2020 collection: Santa’s Favorite Digital Stamp and Hello There Digital Stamp.
My card used the adorable Santa’s Favorite Digital Stamp. This set has 11 fabulous images between illustrations and sentiments.
I printed the images onto White Smooth Card Stock in my ink jet printer. Then, I colored them with Tri-Blend Markers from Spectrum Noir and let the layer a side for a while. The colors were Light Green Blend, Dull Green Blend, Jade Green Blend, True Blue Blend, Gold Brown Blend, Earth Brown Blend.
To create the background, I inked another piece of White Smooth Card Stock with Harmony Water Reactive Inks from Spectrum Noir and splattered it with water. In addition, I pasted all the layers with crafty foam tape to have more interest.
My second card features Hello There Digital Stamp.
On this card, I printed the flowers and sentiment onto White Smooth Card Stock using my ink jet print. Then, I colored the flowers with Illustrator Markers from Spectrum Noir. The colors that I used were: CR1, IB1, DR5 and Blender. In addition, I fussy cut the flowers with scissors but this time, I left a tiny white border around each flower. I just wanted to experiment a coloring technique that I saw during the last days.
RINEA COLLABORATION
To make my card more special, I added a Heart Lace Rectangle Die that I die cut onto Gold/Gold Glossy Rinea Foiled Paper, directly over the card base. In addition, I also die cut some branches and leaves using Emerald/Gold Rinea Foiled Paper. To finalize, I just arranged all the flowers and leaves with 3D Foam Squares.
