You should have come here from Crystal Thompsom´s blog, you are in the right place or if you star the hop here welcome! Take a look of my cards:
I made this using Whisper White, Peach Parfait and Elegant Eggplant card stock. I chose the XL Heart Whispers from DieVersions to create the lattice background and to make this I cut 2 entire hearts in whisper white card stock and then I cut one of this in a half. I arranged all the pieces over the Peach Parfait layer and pasted very carefully. Then I layered this decorated piece over the card base.
For my message I selected two different images of the stamp set Wedding Wishes. I stamped the words using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and the little hearts and flourish using Peach Parfait Classic Ink over a whisper white card stock. Then I layered this piece over an Eggplant Elegant card stock and I decorated one of the corners with a three little flowers that I cut using an Itty Bitty Flower Punch. I added a little pearl on the center of each flower and the final touch was a bow that I made using White Crinkle Ribbon from DL Art Baby Bundle Collection.
With this Wedding card I am participating on Scrapy Land Challenge # 42 . The theme of this Challenge is Lots of Layers and I used more than 10 layers of paper in this card. I love it!
My next project is very funny because I love Mexican food and parties as the good latina that I am.
For this card I used only Whisper White card stock, my favorite color! and the stamp set Food Loving of Joy Clair. I stamped the images using VersaFine Onix and Clear Embossing Powder from Imagine Crafts and to create the background I used distress ink in this order left to the right: Peacock Feathers, Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, Fossilized amber and Mustard Seed.
As a sentiment I used the die cut Cheers Curly Words from DieVersions cut in Whisper White card stock. As final touched I added some tiny bows that I made using the same White Crinkle Ribbon from DL Art Baby Bundle Collection but at this time I changed the color using distress ink an aqua painter.
My last card is for celebrate Father’s Day. I feel that I need to create something masculine and more vibrant. For this I chose more techniques.
The base of my card is Early Espresso and the second layer is a decorated paper that I stenciled with the die cut Retro Car Whispers from DieVersions. My sentiment is from the stamp set Dad’s Day of Joy Clair. And if you are curious to know how I to make this card and how to get this beautiful car, I will share to you a complete tutorial during this week!
Your next stop is on Diana Larson’s Blog, but If you feel loss, here is the entire line up of the stops for Celebration Blog Hop Day 1.
