Joy Clair July Challenge

Hi there! Just popping in to share a project featuring a few stamp sets from Joy Clair. Today is the launching of Joy Clair July Challenge and this is part of the Dt inspiration. Also is the last project for Spring & Summer Coffee Lovers Blog that this year was amazing.

In my project I combined the stamp set Happy Fourth and Christmas Cocoa. Yes I know that we are starting Summer and not Christmas but why not to stretch my stamps?

The base of my card is Real Red cardstock and I added on top a whisper white layer that I cut using the Sugarpea Designs Diagonal Striped Coverplate – Sugarcuts. I pasted this die cut layer using a lot of dimensionals or double sided foam tape.

In a separate piece of whisper white paper and using the Stamparatus from Stampin Up, with VersaFine Clair Blue Belle I stamped one of the cups included on the stamp set Christmas Cocoa and the fireworks and sentiment, included on the stamp set Happy Fourth. Then I embossed all the images with clear embossing powder.

I fussy cut the cup and fireworks with my scissors and with Infinity Oval Die Cuts from Hero Arts I cut the sentiment. I colored the inside of the stars just to add a patriotic touch. And pasted all the images with dimensionals or double sided foam tape.
