JOYFUL NOISE, EMBOSSING IN MY PLANNER
Joyful Noise, embossing in my planner!!! Maybe you are remembering that when I created my planner, I decided to include on it some white pages to use for my inspiration and create my own version of journaling inside of my planner. Today I am sharing with you how I made one of these pages using spray inks and Versafine with clear embossing powder. Take a look of my page:
Working with spray ink is a real pleasure because you can’t anticipate the result. Theoretically, if you apply the spray near to the paper, you will obtain a darker or concentrated color, and if you apply the spray very far you will have the opposite effect. For this page, I used Walnut Ink color Willow and Fireworks color Bahama Blue and London Bog and I applied the spray from about 10 inches away.
The Walnut Ink takes a few moment to dry and the Fireworks dries immediately. While I waited, I prepared the stamps that I wanted to use to decorate the page. I am using a new journaling set called Joyful Noise and I stamped the main images with VersaFine Onyx Black and some music notes with VersaFine Vintage Sepia. Then I covered the images with clear embossing powder and melted the powder with the heat tool.
I kept in mind to left some free space on this page to write my thoughts, and I wrote the title of this using Memento Markers. Now my page is ready to personalize and accomplish my goals.
